Project Aliens: Colonial Marines

Hi Alien fans.

Like many, I was tremendously impressed by seeing the first Alien film, the first of a quadrilology that set the tone for the sci fi horror movie genre.

  1. Nostromo, Warrant Officer Ellen Ripley, Captain Dallas, Science Officer Ash, Alien Egg, Alien Facehugger,...  (Alien, 1979);
  2. Ellen Ripley, LV-426, Colonial Marines, warship Sulaco, APC, Apone, Hicks, Vasquez, Hudson, Bishop, dropship, Newt, cargo-loader, Weyland-Yutani Corporation,... (Aliens, 1986);
  3. Fiorina 'Fury' 161, prison doctor Clemens, autopsy on Newt, prison dog, molten lead, "magnificent specimen",... (Alien 3, 1992);
  4. USM Auriga, Ripley clone, Ripley's enhanced strength, reflexes, acidic blood, the Betty,... (Alien Ressurection, 1997);
All these concepts project a movie scene on the retina of the die hard alien fan. Take a minute to watch my creations and come back every now and then because I will continue to create new models. Our first creation is the queen herself, because without a mama, there wouldn't have been any alien movies, right?! Remember that line: "You're so...beautiful!"? (Alien Ressurection)

In the second alien movie, Ripley fights the alien queen while wearing a cargo power loader, saying the famous oneliner: "Stay away from her, you bitch!"

The M577 A.P.C. Armored Personnel Carrier (Movie: Aliens; Game: Aliens: Colonial Marines) is a multi-role vehicle, mobile and well armed. She is transported in the UD-4L Cheyenne Dropship.

The APC is operated by two crew (a driver and a section commander) and allows thirteen positions for passengers, all equipped with yoke harness restraints for orbital combat drop. The midsection of the APC houses the Tactical Operations Centre, from where the section commander can monitor the battle in real time. My model opens up so it becomes a real playable lego set. It allows 6 minifigures.
